DOORS - the TTRPG v1.0

DOORS is a work in progress, tabletop roleplaying game (TTRPG) – that means you and a few friends or family take on the roles of fictional characters fighting back for their memories; which unlike other RPG’s that involve you making up a backstory, your real-life memories and experiences are part of the game. Although you will decide what your characters will look like, do, fight or reveal; by the end of each session that you played you will actually get to know each other through the challenges you overcome together and the monsters you fight.

Each player takes the role of a normal person within the DOORS Universe trying to fight back their inner monsters that have physically manifested themselves to forge connections that have been broken internally and externally. You will scavenge through the rooms in the mysterious building to find useful times and weapons to help you on your journey to the bottom floor.

This games was originally created around 2015 and has gone through many revisions until it evolved into this.  This is still a work in progress but I want to give thanks to the "Finish Your Damn RPG" Game Jam that got me motivated a month ago to finish this.

I hope to update it regularly and actually look forward to constructive feedback to maybe even develop classes and more innovative game mechanics that incorporate real life items and memories to make each game session personal for the players.

There are two files;

• The Main PDF which includes instructions and the Beta Scenario.
• The Appendix PDF that lists the necessary charts and enemy encounters for the Beta Scenario.

*wombo art is used for placeholders for advertising and the PDF itself could use some formatting work but it's done and that was the hard part.
