Neo-Renaissance (Journaling game) v1.0

Neo-Renaissance, is a single player creative journaling game, played with a deck of cards, a pair of dice, and a pencil and paper. It is a fun way to create your possible a love story in a dystopian future. 

In this game you are just a normal teen in a dystopian future where everyone is consumed with technology, you have joined the Neo-Renaissance a collective of young men and women looking to bring back that good old-fashioned thing called “courting” but the main problem is that he has been drafted for war and you both on the run to the underground railroad aka the Exodus to start a new life.

Neo-Renaissance aims to be a rules-lite game with about a page of actual rules. The game is played with a shuffled 52 card deck of normal playing cards (excluding the jokers), each card has a corresponding writing prompt located in the game's pdf.

There are 3 acts, each act having you draw and resolve a certain number of cards before you can move to the next act.  After completing an Act, you write down what happened to you as a story or in journal format. Finish all acts and you fall in love with someone who doesn’t get deployed and sent to die for some ridiculous political reason or you leave them for being an insensitive jerk, just don't expect love to win all the time.
